What is ISO 37001?
ISO 37001/ MS ISO 37001 is a voluntary internal control system for organizations to manage, handle, enforce, evaluate as well as to improve anti-corruption measures effectively. It is a flexible instrument that can be adapted to decrease the corruption risks faced by any organizations.
The Standard is designed to assist organizations in showing stakeholders that they have adequate implementation of anti-corruption measures and initiatives in place.
The requirements specified by ISO 37001 address two key areas:
- Bribery by the organization, its personnel or business associates for its own gain
- Bribery of the organization, its personnel or business associates in relation to its activities
